The Artful Dodger Looking for a 5* home for this outstanding and much loved pony! Dodger is a 14.1hh, 17 year old handsome bright bay gelding. Dodger has a forward going attitude towards all work and excels at jumping. He has an incredible scopey jump and is not bothered by fillers. He clears courses of 3ft with ease! He is always looking for his next job and love to be kept busy with new tasks to do. He has very bold flowing gaits and would excel in the school with a little more work. He hacks out alone or in company, on busy A roads. When hacking in company, he enjoys leading the ride but is perfectly happy to follow. He has a beautiful temperament and is very well mannered on the ground: clips, baths, trims, catches and loads. Behaves perfectly for the farrier and dentist. Dodger has a very gentle nature in the stable and loves a routine. Dodger is happy being turned out with other horses, both mares and geldings. He is used to being stabled at night, especially in winter and never causes a fuss if being kept in. He has competed BSJA with previous owners even though I decided not to affiliate, he has won a lot of rosettes at local shows with me. I have ridden and loved dodger for the last 4 and a half years and this is a very sad sale as now I am off travelling before university later on this year. Dodger is a fabulous pony in all ways, this is a truly heart-breaking sale and finding a happy and perfect home is all I want for him. He is currently kept at a small DIY yard with plenty of hacking in the surrounding area. I will insist on a trial period, in order to ensure that dodger has found the right home.
